Today, geomodeling is too complex and often too optimistic with permeability estimates. Many models lack lateral heterogeneity, and thin flow barriers are typically not preserved, leading to increased overall permeability. We introduce a new and unique Constrained Forward Stratigraphic Modeling method to reduce the time and complexityof geomodelingwhile generating more realistic geological and flow models.
